Success is mixed in PSSA Knockouts.
Both boys and girls soccer teams played their knockout competitions during the week. Both teams played especially well. The boys won and will play against Engadine next Friday 6 June.
The girls played bravely, scoring 1 goal. Unfortunately their opposition, Enfield Primary School also scored a goal. At the end of extra time the scores were still equal 1 goal each and 2 corners. The rules say in this situation the first team to be awarded a corner is declared the winner. Enfield were the first to be awarded a corner so they go through to the next round.
The netballers are playing Brighton le Sands at Rockdale on Friday 30 May. The girls softball team will be playing Epping West on Friday 6 June. Our basketballers will be playing last year’s State Champions Bangor on Monday 2 June.
There is so much happening!! with still more to come.
With all the great training from their coaches the teams will be certain to do well and have already been great representatives of our school. Thanks to Miss Knoke- softball, Miss Worthing-soccer, Miss Rhodes - netball, Miss Krisenthal- cricket and basketball.
