Hi Miss Dyer, we hope you enjoyed our assembly and item! Thank you for video taping us and putting it up on the blog so we could watch at home (and in the classroom!).
We were so surprised when the old national anthem played. Most people in our class like the Aboriginal version better because it’s faster and has Australian instruments in it from the people who traditionally lived in our land. The old version is so long and slow (and a little boring!) it takes a long time to sing! It doesn’t have such a catchy beat.
Congratulations the Assembly was very well run . . . a great model for the rest of the school to follow.
Homework . . . well now you have no excuses for not doing your homework have you?
