Diala writes . . . Wakakirri practices getting really serious

Morning:
Firstly I’d like to say, welcome to our first day of term! This morning The Wakakarri dance group got back from a wonderful and exciting holiday, unfortunately most of us forgot a certain part of the dance. But as usual we got back on our feet and learnt the moves. Another thing that we NEED to improve on is , put heaps of effort in to this dance, energy and a no chatting. The reason we are joining is because this would be a great experience for our school to participate in the Wakakirri Dance. It shows if you are keen to dance and really want to be in this dance or if you just decide that “Oh my friend’s doing this so I’ll do it to” No it’s not what your friends want to do it is what YOU want to do because there’s not point in coming at all. 😆 Also this isn’t JUST a competition, it’s a dance that we do to show-off our dancing skills, so 😀 it would be a waste of time just joining only to muck around and talk all the time. (I’m sorry for getting so off track )
Afternoon:
This afternoon we focused mostly on multi-cultural part. We have four cultures 1 is The African Group,Another one is The Arabic Group ( I’m in the Arabic Group 😀 ), An Islander Group and last but never the least The Indian Group. We make a square and group at a time we move into the square and dance! Apart from the cultural bit, we got told where we our spots would be and we had to stay there 🙂 because some of us got mixed up for where they needed to be. So we started all the way from the beginning till the end, personally it was a fun time! Thanks tom  Mrs Fifita for helping the Islander group with the moves you did a great job  . We also have very enjoyable dance moves to show you on 🙄 education day. However, we will not be showing you the whole dance only a sneak preview .
Thank you for reading , Thank you Ms Papadis.
