On Monday, Stage 1 (S1 Comet, S1 Nile and S1 Amazon) were very lucky to have two local artists come to Belmore South Public and hold some art workshops. Students were able to contribute to a major piece of work that will be on display at the Art Expo to be held in week 10 of this term. Cheungha and Hules are both very accomplished artists who have held many exhibitions of their own! Students loved being able to ask questions about how Cheungha and Hules started painting, and what motivates them to paint.
Selafina: “It was fun painting on the big canvas!”

Some of Cheungha’s work will be on display at Belmore South’s Art Expo to be held on 19th September. Our students have been working very hard all term to create some special pieces that will be on display as well.
