My Dad the Funny Man!

This term, my dad has been visiting our class on Friday mornings  to play drama games with us. He is a professional theatresports comedian. We play games which help us improvise like miming presents, clap and smile, and word by word stories. We learn how to use every silly idea in drama to make a story, and ee learnt how to use our bodies to make things like a racing car in groups without even talking!

Drama helps you with your thinking, your ideas, and your writing. It is lots of fun!

Parent Club Cooking At BSPS

Parents and staff cooked Islander style food at school today… delicious savoury and sweet sensations!
Look at our movie to see what we cooked … and ate!

So far we’ve had Italian, Greek, now Islander cooking with Parent Club.
This is a great chance to share different ingredients and ways of cooking them.
Look out for our next Parent Club Cooking Day.

This week during Count Me In Too maths groups, Mrs Acehan came to visit.

She taught us a few maths tricks! We learnt how to skip count by 3s, 5s, and 10s.

She also taught us how to multiply numbers by 10. IT”S EASY… JUST ADD ZERO! (and say the new number)

We even wrote a reflection on what we had learnt, and could explain it to someone else.

We have Count Me In Too groups on Mondays and Tuesdays at 12:00pm, and would love you to come and help.
