Friday the 5^th of September S3 Fluorite learnt about Fresh Faced Friday.  Fresh Faced Friday is a body image campaign which helps people be more confident about their body. There is a project called The Heywire Project, where a few students joined to help out a girl named Brooke. They made a video for the project. Brooke was passionate to do this because she had a disease that caused her to have cold sores. She wanted to help other people who have another disease or the same disease that she has. She got the Fresh Faced Friday campaign started by asking people to help her and everybody gathered up. They were all gathered up into groups and made another campaign which is called the social media campaign. It was a serious campaign for Brooke because she wanted to help herself and others with diseases. To help, S3 Fluorite made posters and took photos of it to raise awareness.
